Trick 'r Treat

My Opinion
This movie is great, there is so many twist and turns you don't expect.
I think that it's different from Halloween movies out there. It's a must see.

Plot
This film is about four Halloween-related scary stories.
These four stories get intertwine by one common thing Sam, a tiny mysterious trick-or-treater wearing orange pajamas with a burlap sack over his head. He's there to make sure everyone follows Halloween traditions.

Sinister

My Opinion
I've never seen a movie with a story line like this, so I was pretty interested in watching it.
I watched the trailer and and got pretty syked about it. It's a good movie a must see for October.

Plot
Found footage helps crime author realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home.
The footage also helps him discover new things and new information he never thought possible. But the bad news is his new discoveries put his entire family in danger from a supernatural entity.

Spoilers

I didn't really like the ending, how the family just died like that and how that person... monster? Just took that girl away. And they also didn't explain him very good, just that he did that ritual and how he was a child eater. But he didn't even eat the kids he just had them do all of his dirty work for him. And all the little kids were really bad actors. The movie wasn't very scary even though there were a few parts that made me jump.

American Horror Story: Asylum ep.1

My Opinion

I just watched American Horror Story and I liked it. I really like insane asylums,
I know that sounds weird. But there is just something really creepy and horrific
about them. This show has so many disturbing things about it,
but that's what makes it so good. I am going to be watching this every Wednesday
and blogging about it.

Summary ep. 1: Welcome to Briarcliff
The present
It all starts as a couple in present day go visit Briacliff an insane asylum. They learn about the history
and their most famous resident Bloody Face, a serial killer. As the couple walks around and takes pictures
Theresa hears something downstairs, her and Leo go and investigate. They find a cell door, Leo uses a phone to see whats inside. You can see something comes at him, the thing grabs his arm and rips it off.

1964
Here we are introduced to Kit Walker. He he has a new wife and no one knows about it. Hanging out at home with his wife after work he sees a car pull into his house. He goes outside and tells his wife Alma to stay inside. Hes sees a bright light and hears his wife yell for help. We see him go in hear a really loud noise, and we see some aliens.

We are also introduced to the workers like Sister Jude the head of the institution and the occupants of Briacliff. We see all of the disturbing things that happen there, and how traumatized the patients are. We are also introduced to Lana a reporter supposedly writing a story on the bakery. But she was really there to get a chance to interview Bloody Face the newest patient of Briacliff. We find out who Bloody Face is and all of the things he was accused of.

Dead Silence

Beware the stare of Mary Shaw, She had no children only dolls, and if
you see her in your dreams... may sure to never... ever scream.

My Opinion
Dead Silence is one of my favorite horror movies. There is just something about ventriloquist dolls
that seems very scary to me. There were parts that made me jump,
and there might be some images that may hunt you in your sleep.
I really like the story and they explain it very good, so you can understand Mary Shaw and her endless
amount of dolls. There is so many twist and turns to this movie it's a must see.

Plot
Jamie Ashen returns to his home town to get answers to his wife's murder.
Some of those answers may be linked to the ghost of a murdered ventriloquist, Mary Shaw and her 101 dolls.

Spoilers
I have two favorite parts. The first is when Jamie and the cop are in the theater and see all of the dolls. And second is when we get to see Mar Shaw's face. I also really like seeing all of the peoples dead faces with their tongs cut out is't really creepy and scary.

My Soul to Take

My Opinion
My Soul to Take is not the best horror movie out there. Not only were the gory parts not very scary, but the story wasn't very good. So the Riverton Ripper is out to kill these
7 kids, because of  vengeance. But why he is getting vengeance
isn't very clear. But if you find yourself bored one day why not watch it.

Summary
In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer. Adam "Bug" Heller (Max Thieriot) was supposed to die on the last night the Riverton Ripper wrecked havoc on that terrifying night. Unaware of terrifying crimes being committed to the seven children, he has been plagued by nightmares of their murders while not aware if they hold true or if he is simply imagining the images that haunt him. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that's returned, he must face an evil that won't rest...until it finishes the job it began the day he was born.

Stephen King's IT

I Love this movie! This was the first horror movie I ever saw, I was 3 years old.
I think watching horror films that young made me addicted and made me not so easily frighten.
I've never been afraid of clowns, but Pennywise the Clown can turn into
your biggest fear. Watching it now that I'm older I don't really think it's scary anymore,
or maybe its that I've watched it so many times. But I think everyone should watch it
its a classic horror film, and Tim Curry made an amazing "IT".
But there is some exciting news, it's going to be remake. I think with the technology of today
it can be a lot more scary.
Summary
So pretty much it's about a group of long time friends that set out to stop "IT".
"IT" takes form of a clown, but it can turn into any ones worst fear. But as kids they found a way to stop "IT" for the time being.
And in the present the gang of kids have grown up and moved away, but Pennywise the Clown returned  and they all reunite to try to stop "IT" once again.
Most of the movie takes part of them as adults, but they have flashback where you discover what happen when they were younger.

Spoilers

My favorite part is in the library with Stan and Pennywise sets off the balloons and they explode
blood. But I don't really like the ending with the spider. Hopefully in the remake the make it a little better.

The Cabin in the Woods

Okay, so I wasn't expecting much from this movie. I thought it was going to be just a group of friends in the middle of the woods and all of them but one dies.
But nope it had tons of twist in turns. And I can safely say that I haven't seen another horror movie like it.
I recommend you guys to watch it, oh but there is a boob scene.

Spoilers
I actually really liked how they made it kind like stereotypical in the begging,
and then Dana and Marty went down that elevator.
I love seeing all the different monsters, and also see them start eating and killing the workers.
Best part in my opinion. But I did not like the ending, cuz I guess Dana and Marty die and the rest of the world.
